Devices and tools have one primary purpose and that’s to make our life simpler. For example, a nailgun. Most people involved with DIY now use a nail gun to hammer nails home – they give us a relaible and safe solution both at work and in the home.
One such power tool that I wish to discuss is the Dewalt DC618K XRP nail gun kit. The pneumatic nailer in the kit can slam nails in much swifter than you could by hand. You certainly will not miss getting a smashed finger or the bruising you get from using that hammer all day.
The DC618K is powered by an eighteen volt nickel cadmium battery. There is one battery included with your purchase if you buy the Dewalt DC618k nailer kit.
The nailer weighs in at 17 lbs, which sounds like quite a bit until you consider what it can do. With a nail gun of that length you are able to hold it out in front of you and reach about any place you want to reach. So you may be holding a large tool, but of course your arm will feel better after using it than if you were to use a smaller one that you had to wrestle with to get it to work.
But such a nail gun would not be complete without a safety feature that has probably saved a lot of people from harm. That being a trigger that will automatically lock up each time the gun pounds the nail in. This guarantees a nail won’t go shooting off and hit someone. Of course this feature isn’t foolproof since the gun will go off if you hit someone with it at enough force, but this lock is a start.
In summary the Dewalt DC618K nail gun is an advanced nail gun that can really speed up the job of hammering in a lot of nails. As nailers go, at the price this is a tough one to beat.
